         School day starts at 8:30 a.m.  School day ends at 3:00 p.m.
Pre-k through 1st grade get out at 2:00 p.m.  Wednesdays students are dismissed at 2:00 p.m.

          Emergency contact information should be updated when changes occur. If the name of the person picking up your child is not listed on the emergency contact card, THEY WILL NOT BE RELEASED!

          Parents should expect at least two documents (report card and interim progress report) per grading period on your child's academic progress.

        Students are tardy after 8:30 a.m. and need to report to the main office to pick up a tardy pass before going to class.

        Absences are excused due to illness, death in the family, immigration, court, medical appointments, religious observance or school sponsored events. Absences are not excused for vacation, car trouble, traffic or any other reason not previously listed.

        Notes must be signed by the parent/guardian, explain the absence, contain a contact number and have accompanying documentation such as a doctor's note or court papers if applicable.

         If your child needs to take medication while in school, you must bring the medicine to the office along with an Authorization Note for taking the medication. Teachers are not allowed to hold or administer medication.

        To sign your child out in the middle of the day you must go to the main office. A picture I.D. is required and the name of the person picking up the student must be on the child's emergency contact card. Do not ask your child to wait for you in the main office, or pick up your child at the classroom. The teacher will be notified by the office and will send your child to the office for pick-up. All appointments should be scheduled on days off or after school hours to avoid missing work or instructional time.

         If your child was on free/reduced lunch last year. It will carry over for approximately one month. After that a new application with the social security number must be filed. Applications will be given to your child by his/her teacher(s) the first week of school.
