Parent Volunteer Procedures

 

 

 

Coral Reef Elementary welcomes parent volunteers!!!  Parent involvement is at the heart of student achievement and we want you to be a part of your child’s education. 

 

The following are the procedures for parent volunteers:

 

·        Security measures require an adult to complete a Volunteer application and be screened prior to volunteering in school.  The screening process may take up to two weeks.  Applications are available at the main office.

 

·        The volunteer must make prior arrangements with the teacher as to the date and time they will be volunteering.

 

·        Once the volunteer has been cleared, the volunteer MUST go to the main office and sign-in on the Volunteer Book to record the time of arrival and departure.

 

·        The volunteer must also show proper identification and will be given a volunteer sticker.  This sticker is to be displayed in a visible place on the front.

 

·        Once the volunteer has completed his or her duties, the volunteer must go back to the main office to check out and return the volunteer sticker.
